We are a young company focused on UK hospitals with a purpose to make life easier for hospital staff by providing meaningfully better presentations of routinely used “gold standard” generic drugs.

The differentiated and innovative products we intend to launch in the UK are from our partnership with an Italian company, S.A.L.F. S.p.A. Laboratorio Farmacologico (or SALF), https://www.salfspa.it.

Since 1921 SALF has been developing, manufacturing and supplying generic injectable drugs, using a programme of continual feedback and research to supply medical devices and medicines tailored to the needs of hospital staff; and manufactured according to highest quality standards, in SALF’s own MHRA-, EMA- and FDA-approved facility. SALF have a proven track record of developing innovative and improved generic injectable products coupled with a track record of reliable supply. SALF has partnerships across Europe and the USA as well as being a leading supplier in Italy.

Flexipharm Trading has launched its first two products:

• Patent Blue V 2.5% Pre-Filled Syringe (click here for a summary)
• Methylene Blue 1% Pre-Filled Syringe (click here for a summary)

Both products are supplied as plastic, luer lock pre-filled syringes, packaged in individual sterile wrappers making them ideal for use in the operating theatre environment. These products are licensed in the UK as Class IIa medical devices with the regulatory approval, the CE Mark, accepted and registered with the MHRA.

This innovative presentation minimises the time needed by healthcare professionals to prepare these dyes for use and eliminates the risk of sharps injury from opening a glass ampoule – the current dosage form for these dyes.
